played it. its about as hard as it looks. that is: really.
big blisters on my palms now, which, incidentally, is a not-good place to get blisters (for one thing, it makes opening the cane-sugar cokes they have here harder)
coaching, finding places and resources to play, and organizing disabled sports is one of five program areas of kedan, besides getting basic things like wheelchairs and walkers (a lot of people use a stick instead of walkers - it looks sort of like they are rowing themselves down the street).
it is undoubtedly the most fun (and people love it when the muzungu able bodied kid is way slower than everyone else getting up and down the court. i independently killed two or three of my own teams fast breaks because i couldnt wheel myself around fast enough. embarassing)
